The Executive Director provides leadership and vision for our affiliate consistent with the overall mission and values set forth by our Board of Directors. She promotes and upholds the covenant with Habitat for Humanity International. In addition, she reports to the Board and is responsible for staff management, internal and external public relations, donor solicitation and recognition, volunteer recruitment and recognition, family selection, budget development and adherence, and ensuring that board policies and goals are implemented by its committees. The Executive Director is a non-voting member of the Board and Executive Committee, and an ad hoc member of all other Committees.
Family Services Manager
The Family Services Manager oversees the application process of the perspective homeowners. Once the family is approved, the FSM educates them on the process moving forward and makes sure that their transition is as smooth as possible. The FSM is the direct communicator and relationship manager between the homeowners and Shoals Habitat for Humanity.
The ReStore manager supervises all ReStore employees and oversees all the daily activites of organizing donations, coordinating pick-ups of donations and re-selling those donated items. He maintains the financial records and serves as a non-voting member of the Board.
